Erika Shepherd

Erika Shepherd is a Director at Proterra Investment Partners and a member of the firm’s deal origination team, where she focuses on sourcing direct lending opportunities across the agriculture, food, and beverage sectors.

Ms. Shepherd brings more than 20 years of experience across retail and consumer brands, with a background in managing complex businesses and leading growth initiatives spanning merchandising, product development, brand launches, and go-to-market strategy. She has worked with and for leading retailers including Target, Walmart, Amazon, and Costco.  Prior to joining Proterra, Ms. Shepherd was a member of the executive leadership team at The Barcode Group, where she led corporate development initiatives and supported the acquisition and integration of the firm’s digital marketplace capabilities.
