Alessandra Grasso is a project manager and sustainable nutrition specialist at Mérieux NutriSciences | Blonk, where she leads life cycle assessment (LCA) projects across the U.S. food system, including the North American Rendering Association’s (NARA) GFLI data-in project. She also drives Blonk’s work at the intersection of environmental impacts and human nutrition, leading the company’s diet modeling initiatives.
Alessandra holds a PhD in Health Sciences from the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, an MSPH in International Health/Human Nutrition from Johns Hopkins University, and a BSc in Engineering Science from the University of Virginia.
